More antebellum doodles. One Hetalia doodle.

Chatterbox. Thoreau just wants a nice quiet walk.
Hey, ol' Nate. I think my dislike for Hawthorne is apparent now.
Ice Skating. I think. Thoreau's name was spelled wrong in Hawthorne's bubble because in his journal entry about Thoreau dining with them, he called him "Mr. Thorow."
Envisioned. I don't remember this guy's name. He was super excited to meet Thoreau, but the envisioned and true person were... very different. He didn't even recognize Thoreau when he was there, causing him to say that line.
Always. And thus began the falling out of the Emerson-Thoreau friendship.
Dishing Maine Out. The Aroostook War is pretty stupid, if you think about it. And hard to spell.

Here are some pictures I scanned from schoolwork. Mostly Antebellum Writer doodles.

Kenji. But first, these two. Kenji in "fighter's high." I don't know the technical name.
Aha. His sister being a slut.

Practicing. Thoreau and Alcott. Thoreau would reguarly practice his lectures in front of Alcott, who would critique him best, he thought.
Boat buyer. Hawthorne and Thoreau. Thoreau offered his boat to Hawthorne after they sailed for a bit in it, and thinking it was just about the most amazing boat ever, he bought it. He didn't quite realize that it was Henry's skill that made the boat sail so well, however.
Ice Skating Invitation. Hawthorne and Thoreau, again. Hawthorne carved into Emerson's windows, so he was a bit careful around him for awhile.
Editing. Somewhat hard to read. Margaret Fuller and Thoreau had somewhat of an enemy-relationship. Fuller didn't like much of Thoreau's additions to The Dial, and refused to publish many of the ones he sent to her. There was a rumor, however, that went around that they were to get married. They didn't exactly enjoy that.
Campfire. One of the first doodles I did of Channing, before I had a reference. Here, they're about to accidentally burn down the forest.
Group. An old group square.
Ice Skating. Thoreau was artsy, Hawthorne was smooth, and Emerson was cautious.
Yelling. I don't know.
Self-publishing. Hard to read, again. Thoreau was none to pleased with the expenses coming with his self-publishing, especially given the fact that A Week didn't sell well.
Boat trip. Hawthorne and Thoreau again. In a boat.
House making. Emerson hired Alcott to build him a summer house, envious of Thoreau's Walden hut. He forgot the fact that Alcott was a bit spacey, however. The house was never lived in.

Road to the Civil War. A project in U.S. History class to made a CD cover based on the road leading up to the civil war, and songs relating to it. Got an A on the project. WIPs here and here.
Back cover. Back cover of the CD case, listing the songs and the events.
Ellery Channing. Quick doodles of Ellery Channing, Thoreau's bestest friend.

Aah, I swear, I'm alive. Here's a rather large traditional doodle spam.
Half is based on Axis Powers Hetalia, the other half is Thoreau-Emerson-Alcott-Hawthorne. The line divides.

Please excuse my poor Japanese...
K-KOREA... China and Korea.
POLAND. POLAND WILL WIN THE WAR.
I live alone. I liked this comic.
Holy Roman Empire... I couldn't remember what Chibitalia looked like.
Wa----. Germany~
A true Italian man. Women! Eating! Sleeping!
Not my husband. Su-san and Finland.
KORU KORU KORU. Russia.
"What's wrong, Latvia-kun?" Russia and Latvia.
Japan~. Let's go eat some pasta!
LIET! So awesome.
Pasuta~. Italy and Japan.
Finland and Su-san. "B-But with Su-san, I'm happier!"
England. And his unicorn.
Wa~. I love his little sailor uniform.

LINE!

Avoidance. Hawthorne and Thoreau. Hawthorne was not a social man, so he did whatever he could to avoid passing by Alcott, who loved striking up conversation with whoever passed him.
That beard... Emerson and Thoreau. Thoreau actually thought his neck beard would attract women. No one agreed.
All four. The main four in the happy land of Concord, MA.
Sociality. Thoreau and Alcott. Again, Alcott was very social. Thoreau was... a bit of a loner.
Expenses. Hawthorne. When my class went to the Old Manse, we learned that, while staying there after his marriage, Hawthorne and his wife carved into Emerson's windows. Emerson was none too pleased about this.
Following. Thoreau and Hawthorne. Really, both Hawthorne and Thoreau were the two loners of the group.
Journal. Emerson and Thoreau. "'What are you doing now?' he asked. 'Do you keep a journal?' So here I am to-day."
More avoidance. Alcott and Hawthorne. Same as the first one.
Not anymore. Thoreau and Hawthorne. Thoreau changed his name from "David Henry" to "Henry David" after college, not really for any true reason. (If there was one, please tell me. I'm interested, myself.)
The garden. Even though it was planted at the Old Manse, the garden Thoreau planted was for Hawthorne, as a congratulatory present for his recent wedding.
So pretty. Thoreau and Hawthorne. Hawthorne was attractive in his time. He was often hit on in town, much to his chagrin (again, he was not social).
Suddenly live there. Thoreau and Hawthorne. In today's time, hearing of a friend suddenly going off to live in the woods seems just downright crazy. I can't imagine it being that much different back then, judging by the fact that Thoreau was financially stable. Mostly, Hawthorne is just a jerk.
Spelling. Thoreau and Hawthorne. Hawthorne's ancestor was Hathorne, a judge in the Salem witch trials. Upon learning of this, he included the "w" in his name, to distance himself.
Club meeting. Hawthorne (top), Thoreau, Emerson, Alcott. There were many more members, but I just couldn't get the idea of a club meeting like Boy Scouts out of my head. (Hawthorne is alone up there because he was an anti-transcendentalist.)

Dhu - Doodle of Dhu's face for something. I don't remember what, exactly.
Bush - Old conversation with Annie.
To Hire a Gang - Long. Miwa goes out and hires Kenken to beat up Takashi. It morphs into him being her bodyguard.

I'm here; see?

And I... More fanart for Haru-Sari and keiiiiii, parodying the most recent turn of events in the comic.
Glad to see. Dain has a big nose.
Miwa's cherry blossom days. Me being retarded in MS Paint.
You'll be fighting. I like messing around with what Caitie's characters say.
Civilization! Some people just don't like soldiers.
Sleeping arrangemenets. He's insomniatic.
The carnival. Jokatsu's older brother spoiled magic for him right after he saw it for the first time.
Breeding. Dan's mother breeds race horses. This was all that came to mind.
Use the Masu Form. It's a sentence ending set in Japanese that's more respectful.
Where we goin'. Me joking around with Ryuu after he posted this.
What's it gonna be? More stuff that'll never surface.
Yumi. New-ish character. I found the first doodles I did of her.

Here we go again.

What is wrong with this place. Ichimi and Rafe. A great question, if you ask me.
No way. You lie.
Just like that, right? A conversation I had with Sam.
Is he... A joke, because at war, you don't usually sleep with your wife as much as you do out on the field. O wit.

Wow, post ten. Ain't we movin' along.

Uguu. Self-explanitory.

Request 1. For Caitie. Part of a 10-person request list I had to do.
Request 2. For Besuchan. See above.
Request 3. For Danielle. See above.

A feel-better fanart. For Ridi, of the characters in Ookiku Furikabutte.

"Ano hito..." Something from a new series. Trying to set up an antagonist. Then I just threw up on the canvas. Right to left, text says "That person...", and the arrow pointing says "Person."

Sucker. From the same series as above. His name isn't really Satchel, it's Dhu's nickname for him.

Happy New Year!

Alberich
A silly doodle done for Keiiii over at Haru Sari forums. She asked which would be scarier: Alberich giggling like a school girl, or being his usual crazy self? I combined the two.

Ichimi and Rei
Thought of making two anime-esque panels like the last one I did, these two panels being the sketches for them. I still may. The only thing is, this never happens in Spiral.

Takashi, Machi, and Momo
Something done to cheer up Kaede. It worked xD;
